I was browsing on Reverb and saw really good discounts through Tundra music right now on Guilds, however Tundra doesn't have the best reputation and their listings don't make sense. They have a bunch of Traditional models listed, they specify that the guitars are the exact ones in the photos, and the photos are unique to each listing, however some of the descriptions are for the regular non Traditional models, the price would reflect the Traditional models more, but if they're actually the Traditional models some of these are almost $900 less than regular prices here in Canada.
Then there's a listing priced at the regular, plus the sale so 2 grand CAD but the pictures show a Traditional. If that guitar is the one you're buying, you're paying like $1400 less than anywhere else. That 2 grand Traditional is like $1500 USD.

Anyway, seems crazy all the discrepancy but the prices are something. Just a heads up incase anyone is shopping.

Tundra Music still had lots of New Hartford made inventory which they had at crazy high prices on their website in the past. Hence nobody bought them since 2014. They are one of the few stores where you still could find various F-30 and F-47 and even New Hartford GSR models for instance. Maybe they finally start selling them? (But I have not checked the models now.) I never understood why they kept them for so long. Unless they speculated on rising prices and had anough cash to finance them so long.

I wonder what the customs fees would be for those guitars?

Hopefully they've been well taken care of over the past eight years.

There was also the issue that they posted fictional guitars online using stock photos, which caused a lot of people to doubt their credibility. I bought my 12 string Orpheum there and was very pleased with the transaction. It may help to call and negotiate price on the phone.

For clarity do you mean fictional in the sense that an instrument with those specs never existed or fictional in that they did not actually have an instrument with those specs in inventory.

"Making stuff up" is a bigger crime in my book than listing something in anticipation and then not getting it.

Yes they posted guitars that they didn't have in inventory around the time that NH shut down and then never received. I think what annoyed people most was that they left these listings up not only for months but possibly years.

I received a Reverb email notifying me that an F20 they're selling was down to $1100-ish.

If I wasn't in the midst of moving chaos, and related endless expenses, I probably would've at least investigated.

Probably this F-20E which they are selling as "used-mint", might have been a floor model. Maybe for Black Friday e-mail receipients they had extra % off.

Yes, that's gone up by a couple hundred dollars since I last checked it yesterday (just out of idle curiosity). It must have been a Black Friday/Cyber Monday thing.

Thanks for the callout on this one...I've been tracking F20/M20/M25e/M40 combinations for a couple of months and realized only now that my Reverb filters were US-only so have been missing good opportunities out of Canada.

The Reverb price is in U.S. currency. Still not a bad deal.
OK. Their regular online store has this as new at around US $2000. They also have one without the E for US2000. I have watched the Cocobolo F40 for several years now and it never moved in price. Though I think if I called they might let it go for a lot less.

<veer> Some of the online retailers will decide what country you are in and then convert the price they display to your local currency. This makes sense but a couple of times it caused confusion because members in different countries weren't seeing the same numbers and the exchange rates used by the site were not quite what people expected.

No the prices were in Canadian, Reverb shows the currency of your country. USD would be about 3/4 of that. I think it was Cyber Monday deal.

That New Hartford F20e is now on sale for $1112 USD with Free shipping. Seems like a heck of a deal to me.
