He told me if I ever decide to sell, let him know first.

Was a little shocked - in the best kind of way.

Started 1999. The S-73-12. DeArmond had some cool models like the 7 string "Sevenstar".

I would love to find one of those S-73-12s. What other colors did they come in?

I know for sure they came in natural and transparent green and they came in a transparent red color which by the time of the famous DeArmond blow-out sale of early 2000's was not easy to find. That DeArmond blow-out sale was something! I must have had 30+ DeArmonds. Biggest regret was selling the T-400's. Had a transparent red, a blond and Tennessee Orange one but let them all go! Many others all but two were Korean built models. Today they bring a reasonable price typically more than 2x the blow-out price.

Kept the Natural S-7312!

The 2000 and 2001 pricelists showed only those 3 versions:
