Hi folks,

Polished up my F512 today, and really... ain't this East Indian rosewood just gorgeous? Who need Braz, anyway? :)

Guitar porn follows: :D

Well, does anyone else think this bridge plate could've used a simple sanding though? Sloppy, sloppy, Tacoma folks!:

Gratuitous shot of the heel block. Note the handwritten F512. :

Yeah Chaz, that is really beautiful IRW: wonderful grain lines and color variations. Nice pic quality also, particularly that inside shot looking up at the bridge plate. Well done.

He has very short arms and legs David. Nice pair Dread. Very nice 512 Chaz, I know you're proud.

:D Little snapshot camera on macro setting and auto-focus. Some shots come in focus, others are throw away.

You bet. I liked the way the color came through next to the bay window and under the chandelier of my "luthier's bench" (a.k.a. kitchen table covered by towel).

The truth is that I'm not sure I'm ever going to warm to the white plastic binding motif that really defines these high-end Guilds. But I do understand why they did that ("made to be played," and all that). The wood selection clearly remains top-notch and worthy of pride. :)

Have a great day. And stay warm out there folks!!!
