Where are Strings Made?

KInd of a random question folks, but where are the big string makers actually manufacturing strings.... Martin, Elixer, D'Addario ..etc?

D'Addario are US made. Martins I believe are made in Mexico.
GHS are also made in the US. GHS and D'Addario probably make the Lions share of strings for other labels. Thomastic (sp) make there own as well as a few other independant makers.

I'm affraid you are. Thomastik-Enfeld is made in Vienna, Austria.

I thought Martin strings was US and Darco was Mexican...

DMS also make their own strings in the US, as does Gibson.
