I woke up this morning to the local news talking about the snow storm that is hitting us in the Midwest. In my area so far we have had over 13 inches fall overnight with winds blowing up to 50 mph. The wind died down but it’s still snowing and will be for a while. The funny thing to me is that locals seem to be shocked by the storm. It’s Wisconsin people! We have storms like this every 8 to 10 years! Stay inside, grab a Guild, and enjoy the snow day off from work. This is the fence in my back yard. It’s 48” high, so you can sort of gauge the depth of snow so far. I apologize about the graininess of the photo, but it’s still snowing pretty heavy here.

That was quick. The snow plow came. Shame he felt it necessary to pile all the snow on top of the mailboxes instead of behind the Dead End sign. I think I’ll give a call to the city and see if they will correct that lack of good judgment.
