What did the old Hoboken D50-NTs have for a saddle?

This was pre-Tusq.

I just put a bone saddle on one of my other guitars and it made a terrific difference in sustain and tone.

But it occurs to me that in 1968 that was probably what Guild was using. OTOH, if it's plastic, maybe bone saddle and end pens would help the sustain...

Whatever, it's aged better than I have.....
