If I could afford their mic$ and $ound $y$tem, I'll bet it would sound real nice.
Does anyone have experience in using the proximity mics and what kind of shekels a guy might have to part with to get a good one?
Dred,
Funny you should ask! I just finished reading my just-arrived latest issue of Acoustic Guitar mag (April), and they deal with that subject in great detail. All the questions you would ask, they answer them. Check it out. This method is not for everybody, but works for the performers you mentioned above.
