Vintage vs. Modern Guitar Audio Experiment

Hey guys, I know most of us are strictly guild owners but i found this thread over at ACG that is actually a pretty cool experiment. Some guy decided to record three vintage Martins along with three contemporary models of the same kind. The results were pretty interesting...I actually found myself enjoying the sound of the modern guitars more (with the expection of the D18) as the guitars seemed to have a stronger bass response and more clarity amongst notes.
