My price range is $500 or under. I have actually located a vintage Ampeg Jet. A local mom & pop store sent it out for repair over a year ago and never authorized the tech to fix it, so it's been sitting in his shop. I anticipate we can get it back next week, and then, I'll see what it needs in terms of repair. I know it needs a three-prong cord for starters. This same shop has a Guild 66J in nice shape, but he wants $900 for it. No way. He also has a Danelectro amp that's bigger than what I want.

I know all about Blue Juniors. I'd prefer to stay away from them. No real reason, just not vintage.

Those old Jets are pretty cool, although they run some odd tubes. I think power tubes are 7591s. The reissue 90s versions sound great, have tremolo and reverb (dimension) and run standard EL84s and 12AX7s. Earlier breakup too.

Too bad you're on the other coast. There's a late 50s Airline and a 40s Harmony on Seattle's CL right now in your price range, both from the same seller.
