I bought this Guild S-100 in the early 2000's from the original owner. He said that it was originally black, but that he stripped it down to the original mahogany, which looks great. There is still some of the original black finish on the back of the headstock & the horns that you'll see.
He turned every knob into a push-pull which allows it to play each humbucker with reverse polarity & single coil (i'm almost positive thats what they do). The smaller switch is now a kill switch. he also replaced the neck pickup with a seymour duncan (unsure of the model).
It sounds & plays great. The only real cosmetic issue is some cracking on the binding. my luthier who has set it up a few times says it's not anything to be worried about. I tried to capture everything in the pictures & video.
Comes with original hard case. The pricing on these is all over the place & i really don't need to sell, so i'm starting with 2k right now.
Only trades would be for high-end martin, gibson or guild acoustics. Please don't reach out with other trades.
