Here is a nice original 1960's era Guild hard shell case from an F-30 model. Not sure what other models it fits?

A friend of mine sold his 1960's Guild F-30 guitar decades ago but held on to the case for another guitar which he never plays. So when I suggested that he could make a little money by selling the case to someone with a 1960's F-30, he said "go for it". I know that it's a relatively rare case because virtually all the 1960 era F-30 models I saw for sale online have after-market cases! So, before it gets listed on eBay for everyone else to jump on, here's an advance offering for the good folks on this fine Forum.

Because the guitar itself was rarely played, the case is still in very good condition as you can see from the pics. Exterior covering mildly scuffed but really looks fine with all latches and hinges still intact. Case handle is good & solid. Some minor tears & wear to the lightly padded felt lined section from where the guitar lay but overall the lining is good. And the case pocket is still intact. Questions?

Price is $200 + shipping.

Yes you're right. Guild did make attractive cases....and of course guitars...and this 60-ish year old case is no exception. I thought that someone from the pool of 1960's F-30 owners on this Forum might gobble it up. I'll give it another run.

I stand corrected. The appealing exterior 'alligator' covering has a distinctive '50's vibe.

No takers so far on the Forum so my buddy gave me the green light to open the door to the best offer before he takes the case back and puts his Yamaha guitar in it (or sells it himself on eBay?). I just thought that someone here would be more deserving of this cool looking '60's F-30 case than my friend with a Yamaha guitar who didn't care much about it? LOL.
