Many of us hold the JF30 12-string in high regard. (My introduction to Guild was the one I bought almost 20 years ago.)

I'm posting the link to this one on eBay NOT for the usual reasons (the beauty of the maple, etc.), but rather for its undyed ebony bridge, which I find outstandingly beautiful. I've only seen a couple Guilds with bridges like this (one of my DV52s came with one), but -- man! -- I'm coveting this guitar JUST for the doggone bridge!

Is it just me?!

I sold my JF-30-12 almost 10 years ago for $100 per string.
Looks like the price hasn't gone up that much in 10 years.

Interesting too that neck is mahogany. I figured it would be maple, like on the six string version.

That striped ebony is amazing!! I love that Taylor is now using it on high end guitars for the fretboard!! Beautiful!!
I could be mistaken but I think they use ebony for their entire lineup. I’ve seen striped ebony on a GS Mini and an Academy 12 and loved the added character.

They were wasting so much wood. Have to be felled to see if they're pure black, and only 1 in 10 is. What a waste. I'm a huge fan of Bob Taylor's impact on our resources! (y)
