I believe they are still building stuff in the Custom Shop. I don't think they use the same old building though. Costs money to heat and cool old buildings and they don't need that much space.

Ovation is still in the original Kaman/OvationHamer/Guild building in Greenwoods Rd. No change of address. But the Ovation brand is now owned by GEWA music GmbH in Germany.

There are other tenants in the old factory site as well.

This real estate listing shows some of the available space and lists some of the other tenants.

Ovation is still using the address as are some other companies listed in

Alrighty, then, I think if I sift through all the "information" it looks like Titebond.
I'll snoop around to see if I can find out from an old factory builder.
Didn't mean to start a war I just needed to know so a compatible adhesive could be applied. ;)
The glue work is so neat in this guitar there's no place where squeeze out occurs anywhere so couldn't make visual assertion.
Don't really care which one.
Thanks again.

I'm not sure if the subject has been answered, but to my knowledge hide glue was only used in New Hartford for the Orpheum series.

I'm not sure exactly what adhesive was used for other purposes (braces, bindings, etc..), but Titebond was definitely being used to glue dovetail necks to the bodies. As for which Titebond, I cannot say. I do recall they were using a Titebond that could be steamed off for a neck reset, as needed, if that helps identify it.
