Hi Friends,
I have sold a couple of my Guilds and I added these two beauties. They actually both are coming from Rumble Seat Music. They are good people to work with. The first of the two is this 1962 Guild Starfire III in emerald green with Dearmond pickups.

The second is this 1961 Guild X350. The last year it was made with 3 Franz pups. All gold hardware and both guitars are all original and come in their original cases. Here's a photo of the X350.

Both beautiful pieces and I am very excited to add them to the collection. They are both scheduled to arrive on Friday and I will take better pix and post them after they arrive. I will admit, I am very excited about this pair. I have seen quite a few Starfire IVs and Vs in emerald green but I really wanted a SF III. I just prefer that model over the heavier semi-hollow models. Please enjoy these two pix for now and I will post more after arrival. Thanks for looking.

Wow! You are my idol!

You have really developed quite a collection of vintage Guilds - congrats on these two scores - beauties!

Wow, both are beautiful! You're probably well on your way of becoming the N°1 "single coil Guild Collector"!!!

Well I never really thought about it like that Walter, but it does seem now that all my Guilds have either Franz or Dearmond pickups. Except the Polara. But they are single coil pickups.

That SF III is incredible in green, but the X350 is no slouch either. Congratulations once (or twice) again!

Really nice guitars. I have been looking at that X-350 @ Rumble Seat for the last year it seems. Glad an LTG member got it so we can hear all about her! Congrats

Fantastic additions! Great, great collection you have, as others have said. I think a few of us on the board were tempted by the the green '62 SFIII. Glad that it's in the LTG family. That X-350 is intriguing as well. Both look like wondeful guitars & I hope you get lot's of enjoyment from them.

As I think I've said to you before if you ever consider selling that 1963 SFIII then let me know...

Greetings Mike! :D
I already knew for the green Starfire  but the X-350 is a (wonderful) surprise!

Gotta hand it to Rumble seat. Those colorful blankets so perfectly set off these beautiful guitars. Though in truth, these two don't need any help. Droolworthy stuff!

I suppose this means that your recently acquired '61 X-175 is now obsolete?

Even though these new guitars are quite drool worthy, as it was put, the X175 is just as worthy. It's actually still my #1 go to guitar. Maybe after these get here it may go to #2, but it is still far from obsolete. I always make sure my mouth is closed when I play it. :) But if I ever decide to sell it, I know how to get in touch with you. Still have the CE?

Thanks to you all for the nice comments. The quest is on now for an ebony SF III, preferably with Dearmond pups. Anyone have a lead on one?

I do still have the CE, and I am trying to avoid playing it so I don't change my mind again about selling it. I have my lottery ticket, so perhaps I won't have to make these tough choices much longer...I want them all!

Best of luck with the lottery. I would love to put that CE in my collection as well. But after shelling out for these two I will have to recoup some cash first. Maybe in a few weeks if you still have it. I am thinking about putting my '57 Silvertone Espanada and possibly my near mint '59 M65 for sale, but am not sure yet. If I do, that will more than cover the CE.

Zizala would get a kick out of that.
