After I bought my GAD jf 30, I had repairs made and new strings installed.
I asked the Luthier to use 0.012-0.053 strings, based on the spec. I got from a member here.
Long story short, they are ok, but I think I might be happier with something a little lighter. I'm not necessarily looking for a brand as much as a gauge that others here have used on this guitar and liked.
Additionally, If I change gauges, it is a good idea to get a truss rod wrench. Does anyone know the correct size Allen key required for this guitar?
Please and thanks.

Try some low tension light gauge strings. I would not suggest going lighter than light gauge strings on a Jumbo guitar.

What brand/model of strings did he install? Maybe a different choice would feel better to your fingers.
