Thanks, guys! I'm really working on building up a setlist so I can play out more--I appreciate the encouragement...god knows I need all the help I can get!

ChiWi, you're easy to listen to. Very, very nice vocals and your picking moves everything along. Keep it up.
What guitar were you using by the way?

Chi Guy, you're a lot better than you think you are.

And you've got a great voice.

Z I was playing the GAD50. Thanks for the kind words!

Kind of shot that GAD's not sounding good theory to smitherines. Sounds great on the recording.

Nah, your voice sounds great. I've been playing with a Zoom H4 that Mrs. West got me for my birthday. I've had a blast with the thing. Good job you did there all around. I'd come sit in your coffee bar! Mine is posted over in "LTGer's"............."Piddlin' With The H4".....hold your ears if you go there though!

Nevermind, I'll bring it here for ya. Gotta work on the settings a bit.

West that is an absolutely beautiful song! And your voice...simple and pure, my friend, reminds me of Willie...and that is a compliment! Got to say, though, that the sound on the guitar is kind of muddy...what's up with that? You gonna play around with the recording settings?

Thank you sir. Yep, gotta bunch of tweaking to do. That's through a little Roland acoustic amp and into the Zoom. I had a bit too much effects (reverb) on that one and maybe had the gain on the recorder set too high and a bit too much bass. That rosewwod guitar puts out tons of bass. Anyway, I'm still playing with the recorder, but having a good time doing it.

Oh, and the songs not mine. It's an old Marshall Tucker Band song from the 70's.

I appreciate you Chicago,
West

You both sound downright fine! I hope you find some local gigs/open mics/concerts/busking venues/recording contracts - or whatever you would like, right to your heart's content! Keep it up!
