I'm not much of a pirate, but my kids could easily contribute in swiss german dialect. This one here is one of their favorite audio plays at the moment, on heavy rotation.
Storyline: (spoiler alert!)
Nilo the fairytail uncle goes for a stroll at the lake of Zurich, where he meets his old friends Fritz the fisherman and Schlötterli the knight. They decide to join Fritz for a boat tour on the lake. Instead of catching a fish, they accidentally pull maritime biologist Xenia on board, who searches for a missing population of Axolotl. Schlötterli fumbles with the boat motor which explodes, and pirate Seebart, pretending to be a harmless old man, comes to "rescue". Once he gets our friends in his boat, he reveals his true identity, takes them captive and has them guarded by the sea monster Krakakli. Our friends realize that not only them are hold prisoners by the pirate, but also the missing axolotls. They manage to convince the sea monster Krakakli to release them. Krakakli was led to believe by the pirate that he was allergic to water and therefore had to stay on the ship, obey the pirate and serve him. Realizing his mistake, Krakakli happily allies with our friends, they bring the axolotl back to Mexico, and pirate Seebart gets captured by the sea police.
