I was thinking about buying a B-301 and found a bunch of videos of the bass in use by a YouTube bassist named Troy, posting as TJH3113:
The Guild's beefy growl reminded me of my first bass ecstasy, when the cover band playing a dance at my high school launched into The Real Me by The Who while I was standing in front of the bass amp. As the Quadrophenia album notes said, John Entwistle's bass parts sounded "like a bleeding VC10." I searched and, sure enough, Troy used his B-301 to cover The Real Me:
It's a fun channel and my B-301 is scheduled to arrive on Monday.
