No need to purchase an after-market 'guard, or mess with paint !

You need a small piece of "Arlon" sticky stuff. http://www.arlon.com/

Apply carefully to the underside of the 'guard, and voila !!!

A zillion colours available ( well, half a zillion anyway ! ), and the really good news ....... your local sign shop has got this stuff !

This is the stuff the infamous "Stickie-Thingies" were made from.

looks good.
It could maybe benefit from a little house shape in the middle, but to each his own.

You do nice work Coastie .. :D Can that material be printed on? Say you wanted something like "CoastiezAmpz Model 2" ... will that surface take ink or too slick?

Thanks John. I don't think that you can do that, but I have some questions to pose at the sign shop so will ask.

I plan on putting a new fascia on my modded Silvertone 1482; I have to find out what my options are regarding material / printing.
