I was pushed an ad from Guitar Center for a Thunderbass head. Like I played it high school, with that goofy robot-head mounting handle on the bottom.

I had the matching 2x15" cab but rarely set it up as directed. It just felt too unbalanced and precarious. Especially since the cab was pretty thin depth-wise.I have a beige robot head. Still has the bracket, but not the body.
We were much closer to the MC-5 than Fairport Convention.
