Recording bass parts for my album with my Thunderbass today. We have one microphone on the speaker, one 30 ft. away, and a DI. My Supro Pocket Bass sounds just like a stand up bass with this setup. Love this amp.

man, I am so happy that thing is still working out for you. Playing guitar out of that was all kinds of holy grail, and yes I concurr it has that upright warm and punchy bass tone as well, also holy grail, really. It was certainly a conversation piece also, but has definitley found a more worthy home with you. Made to be played!

It worked out fantastic. I wrapped up the bass tracks today... 12 songs. I used the Thunderbass with that '60s Supro in the picture, my '78 Musicman Stingray, and my '08 Fender American Standard Precision V. They all sounded fantastic. The Thunderbass performed like a champ. It records real nice.

Love the pocket bass. Bought one for my daughter when she was in kindergarten. Had it refinished sparkle Barbie pink!
