The Guild M90 with P90's and M-70 with DeArmonds 2000's are chambered guitars. The solid body S-275 color is officially known as "cherryburst". They came in two colors: Blond and Cherryburst.

I wonder why Guild never built a solidbody with P90s. What I would find interesting is a solidbody with a P90 in the neck and an HB-1 in the bridge. Seems like it would be the best of all worlds to me.

I saw this on eBay last year, and from the other pics it looked like a nice custom job that someone did... but I was outbid :( This would have been just about my perfect guitar. Also, just for the record, the Reverend Double Agent has a P-90 in the neck and a Humbucker in the bridge as well as the Duesenberg that was already mentioned. That is a nice combo.

Too bad you were outbid! That thing is sweet. And I am familiar with the Reverend Double Agent and the Duesenberg 49er, both solidbody guitars with the P90/Humbucker combination But they aren't Guilds. I've posted this before, way back when, and I'm a little embarrassed to do it again because it seems like I have every electric guitar that anyone mentions, but I have a semi-hollow Duesenberg Starplayer TV Outlaw with the P90/Humbucker combination.

I made up my mind. I want the real thing: A 70's S100 all original with the HB1's.
So I'll give the 75 acorn on Ebay a try, and we'll go from there.....

Looks like it.... As you pointed out, the only "flaws" seem to be those nicks on the back of the neck, which I can live with.... So let's see what happens in the last minutes of this auction!

You could totally do that to the one your selling. I saw this photo after seeing your posting whilst browsing Minneapolis craigslist. For under $200 bucks you could get awesome P-90s. I think you could even get a custom pickguard for under $50. Breathe new life into that baby! Sorry in advance if this seems blasphemous to some.

Anything that gets a guitar played is OK by me.

I've thought about it, but the problem is that I don't have the time or know how to do it myself... and I'm guessing custom work + pickups is going to get more expensive than I can afford. I've also considered just getting an S-300 and throwing in some humbucker sized P-90's, that way it could be restored to original if needed.
