Can anyone tell me what tuning Jackson Browne is using? I can't believe I'm actually tryin' to finger pick this song. While it seems easy enough, what I am doing doesn't sound right. So I'm thinking some alternate tuning?

Peace

Kind of you, Graham. The arrangement I do is morphed from the recording by Jennifer Warnes. Happy to provide a lead sheet, though, if it'll help at all. But I just do it in standard tuning. Key of C.
You might also talk to CE Blue if he's monitoring LTG. He was one of the session players on an early Jackson Brown album, and he knows the original arrangement better than I.

Good luck, Doc. Stick with it - it's a great song.

I hadn't seen that version Dan, very very nice.

Thanks

Mark still does a fabulous version!

That is a great clip! Glen Campbell also does a great version on his latest CD from last year, "Meet Glen Campbell". Always loved this song...

Guildmarks version has a verse in it that I have only heard Greg Allman do. Really nice to hear it 'cause everyone tells me that's not how the song goes when I do it that way.

Just tell "everyone" to blow it out their soundhole 'cause apparently when you do the song, that IS how it's done!
