I found this interesting, usually Colts owner Jim Irsay collects much more valuable instruments.
He purchased a Jimmy Page played 2002 DeArmond by Guild M-75T !

Marc Johnson, Chief Guitar Curator of The Jim Irsay Collection, confirmed this:
"We do have a Jimmy Page guitar that he played at Epsom College when he just jammed with some students there after giving the speech, he signed that guitar, which he rarely does. It’s a DeArmond by Guild."

From the auction page:
"On Monday 4th March 2002, Jimmy Page jammed with Epsom College pupils in a concert to raise money for street children in Brazil. This is one of the guitars that Jimmy played during the concert and later signed to be auctioned off to help with the proceeds. The vendor, who's son attended Epsom College, bid on the item and ended up being the lucky winner."

Is that a Harptone 12-string hanging above the DeArmond?

That's cool; I wasn't familiar with Harptone.

Really interesting how the Harptone is pinned like Guild's 12ers, i.e., wound strings closer to the saddle. I didn't know anyone else did that.

I think Bowie also played a Harptone 12 if I’m not mistaken

I see I missed a tour of this collection last year, but is this collection for public view? I looked at the web site, and since he's the Colts owner shall I assume this collection is (normally) kept in Indiana?

Here's George playing the Harptone on "Eric Idle's Rutland Weekend Television Show", Christmas, 1975:

See it while you can. You never know. It might just get packed up in the middle of the night and snuck out of town in Mayflower moving trucks during a snow storm. :p

Yeah I was still living in Maryland when they snuck the Colts out overnight without any warning! if I'd been a football fan I'd have turned against them

Was he "famous" for not cutting the strings? Didn't know...

True.

OTOH, you can bet Jimmy strung it himself. Could you imagine paying somebody to change the strings on your guitar, but asking them not to trim the strings?
