I told my local luthier to set it low. He did a great job. Super easy to play. With new strings, sounding full and rich... and loud when pushed. I'm liking this little dread. :p

GAD series is one of the best MIC acoustics out there.

That's great, Cougs. I sure liked those when they came out. Any idea what year yours is from (just curious).

Beautiful guitar. If it’s as nice as my Wesrerly Series 12 string dread you’ll be very happy with it.

Looks nice! Is it a solid top?
Yeah - solid top, solid back, solid sides! All mahogany. Checking other specs, I keep seeing "satin finish." No! This thing is super glossy, so much so I had a hard time taking photos without reflections ruining the shot! (No, not of feet!)

Wow, I didn't realize it was all solid woods. That's great!

Yes, it most certainly is. The GADD-25s were never satin, as far as I recall. Not sure about that, though.

I don't know of any satins in the first and second run of the GAD series. That is a lovely all hog 12-er cougar. One came up on CL a while back for $450.. I should have thrown down. Kind of like some chatter on a recent post around the OM-120, MIC all hog Guilds are really nice and sound really good. An old friend of mine has the GAD25 and it sounds amazing.

Well, after seeing a post of yours from back in 2013 and checking out the number stamped on the neck block, it looks like this guitar was produced in May 2011. Thanks for the info!

I had this guitar out tonight. It has monster tone and volume! It's really amazing....
