Yeah, I've seen some pretty good birds on Padre Island.
Those look like Double-breasted Thrashers. They're very common on Gulf Coast beaches in the spring.
And then they migrate! :wink:

You ever been to Padre?.................I've been to Destin, Seagrove, Fort Walton and Panama City, and I've never seen a Texas beach that came close. Padre is great if you like brown sand and muddy water (Not Muddy Waters).

Yes - in the garden we have regular visit from great tits, as well as coal tits, blue tits and long tailed tits

I understand this is a variety of Canadian great tit, but this one was spotted somewhat farther East than Vancouver :mrgreen:
