I'm not sure if this was posted already, but a search didn't dredge it up. Here's a nice review of the Guild D20 with very high accolades.

I wholeheartedly agree. The D20 is a very fine guitar. I love mine, and the tone always surprises and delights.

When is the last time someone with a guitar to sell has said anything negative about a guitar? Just saying. So I view these as entertainment. Not at all knocking the D 20, but last week, he was in love with a D 40 traditional, the week before the very special Taylor, etc. etc. I find Music Villa to present guitars as they are and acknowledge that everyone will like different things. Luckily, there are many great guitars out there. I saw a comparison video this week with no commentary. I was impressed, for what they were, with a $200 Yamaha, and a $500 Alverez. No need to begin on a really bad guitar these days. Scrolling through the comments, there was no consensus on the plus four grand fare.

I own an older version of the D-20 , a '78 D-25 with a brazilian rosewood bridge -
it is indeed a working mans pro quality guitar - i also know the D-20 is its modern version -
an excellent instrument - not much difference between a EIR bridge and a BR bridge ! they both are very good !
