Mine is definitely my best 12er, but the JF65-12 is right there, too. Heck, even the D25-12 holds it own.F-512 is the best I've got. YMMV.

That's precisely what I did in 1976, only I was a senior in high school, and been saving up a long time. I bought the '73 D50 I thought was new at the time at Sam Ash when it was still in Hempstead NY, for $400, and still own it.Between ol' Louise and my DV52, I've gotta give the edge on sound to Louise, my D25M.. She sings so sweetly...
1976, fresh out of the Navy, I go out looking to buy a Martin - because anybody who's anybody plays a Martin, right?
My local music store had Martins, Gibisons, and Guilds. The Martins were obviously nice, but also cist twice as much as the Guild. Gibsons were made just a short distance from here, so I had ti give them a try too.
3 reasons I bought the Guild D25M:
- Sound
- Beauty of the wood
- Price, $300
