I will post pics as soon as it arrives. David, thank you so much again. You went the extra miles (I just saw the cell phone pics you posted) and I really do appreciate it. I just think that guitar is so unusual...I had to snap it up.

Probably won't arrive for another week. Just in time for... Hannukahmas!

Cheers,
Barbara

Barbara, when you get your guitar, you will want to take the protective film off of the pick guard.
You would be surprised at how many people don't even know it's even on there.

TMG: I laughed out loud when I read that. You made my day. Well, actually buying that guitar made my day. You came in 2nd. :)

Barbara,

FYI, I guess they're still building these black models. This fellow has a line on some "second" instruments from the Tacoma factory (I spoke with him offline)... Anyway, this one looks like yours: look for eBay listing 120195975013

The F-50 hanging next to Barbara's in the picture was made in Tacoma.

Congrats Barb!

I'll bet that guitar rings!!

Looks just like my JF30-12 only with the nicer inlays and sheild. I assume the tonewoods on the 412 are a higher grade maple and you're gonna love the sound and resonance!!

Enjoy.

Hey David,
I think it was *supposed* to arrive today, but between the ice storms in Kansas/Oklahoma and the ice storm we had today, the delivery was pushed back to tomorrow.

I'm awaitin'!

Barbara
