I am told that the Papoose was the first guitar model made by Tacoma, designed by Terry Atkins and George Gruhn, and it introduced the paisley soundhole and the Voiced Bracing Support system. It has a relatively short 19.1" scale and was designed to tune to A" rather than the conventional E, making it equivalent to a conventional guitar with a capo on the fifth fret, and of course you can also tune it down. A great travel guitar. These seem to be quite sought after. Loads of fun.
It measures approx. 31"L, 11" at the lower bout, 7.5" at the upper bout, and 19.25" from nut to saddle. Rosewood fingerboard and bridge, solid spruce top, solid mahogany back and sides.
Action is a bit high but there is plenty of saddle to work with. There are a few dings and scratches, as you can see in the pictures. No cracks. Frets are good. Tuners good. No issues. I will ship it in an old dread case. No gig bag included.
