Selling a 2003 Tacoma DM9. This is an all-solid wood mahogany dreadnaught made in the U.S. Tone is warm and resonant with excellent volume. Condition is excellent - some minor dings in the satin finish, but overall very nice shape. Action is medium with plenty of saddle left to adjust.

Comes with original deluxe case, hang tags, truss rod wrench, and sales receipt. This has been well cared for and the original purchase price for guitar and case was $613 in 2003.

Asking $550 plus shipping. Feel free to ask questions and thank you for looking.

I'll tell ya, I used to own several Tacoma branded acoustics and they were great sounding guitars. I never owned the DM 9 but I owned a Jumbo version that looked pretty similar and it was a beast with nice projection and a huge voice.

They had a real problem with many of their high gloss models. They ran into a big delamination problem. Still great sounding guitars, they just didn't look so great. They never had an issue with their satin models though that I know of.

This one sounds great. Not as smooth as my '81 D25, but more volume. It's a great strummer and good for flatpicking. I know this is a Guild forum, and like most everybody else here, I'm a Guild guy first. But I thought there might be some interest given the afinity some have for the Tacoma plant.

Fortunately, with the satin finish, I was able to avoid the finishing issues that plagued so many of the gloss models.
