I'd love to see Guild come up with a Tacoma-made Grand Auditorium RW.

Just remake the F-312, and everybody will be happy! While they're at it, make two versions: one with rosewood, and one with pearwood. Make mine with Red spruce top, please . . .
Both Great Ideas!

I hate to sway the conversation, but isn't mahogany often the preffered B/S wood for 12-strings ? I would think you'd get a more clear and crisp sound with the mahogany. Rosewood on a jumbo 12-string seems a bit much to me, although I have never played any of these. I wish Tacoma brought back the F212XL, without all the bling of the F412 or F512. Never put gold tuners on a guitar !

Mahogany does sound great with 12 strings, and I do have a mahogany 12. Compared to My rosewood 12, the mahogany has less bass intensity, but the mid-tone is quite strong.

My thoughts at this point in time; Get the EI rosewood while You can.

I love gold tuners on my guitars! Also, I don't think the F212XL ever had the bing the F412 & F512 has. I'm pretty sure the F212XL had a blank fret board. However, I would love to see a Tacoma Guild F212XL reintroduced with mahogany b/s.
