One of the great things about sunsets is that you're guaranteed one a day. Of course, around here they can be wet, but when it's not raining....

And they're all different, so keep an eye out for one in your neighborhood! :wink:

We occasionally get what I call "cheap oil painting" sunsets. The colors are so vivid - with lots of magentas and violets - that it looks like a cheap painting, in which the painter has slathered outrageously bright colors across the horizon. Hence the name. It seems that whenever they occur, the camera isn't at hand. Nature can really put on an incredible show at times. Joe and others, thanks for capturing some of those moments and sharing them with us.
