I use split sets of strings, with lights for e, b, g, and mediums for DAE on my D-25 and Starfire Special, DR blues lights on my T400 & X-155. I get the bass with the mediums, 56 E and the handling on the lights for finger style. Will play around with the mix on the next set on D-25 to see how it responses. 8)

if you put aything smaller than a 12 on a DV-52 then (my opinion) you are selling yourself short, although, these 13s will wear your ass out, theres no comparison tone-wise. as for other Guilds uhmm, ill leave that to the experts :lol:
