Just changed strings on my Godin ACS nylon, trying a new set from Thomastik, e and b are nylon, g through E are chrome steel flat wound with a nylon core. A little harder to fasten on the bridge than conventional classical strings, but anxious to see how they sound. Seem to have more tension than regulars, even high tension sets, so I'd hesitate putting them on a good classical guitar, even though that's their target. Anyhow, also used it as a warmup for changing strings on my Orpheum. I've read lots of complaints about ochanging strings on a slothead, so I'm anxious to see if changing strings on a classical for 50 years or so will make it easier for me.
Anyhow, anybody else ever try these strings?
