As Rüdi noticed - while I suggested it in his NGD-thread - the Songbird was NOT alone on airport - fact is, that it all happened about noonish - so it must've been a miracle that a Nightbird ( X-2000 to be precise ) happened to land at same time at that same conveyour belt.
And before Ralf mentions it
- yes - A&D strings have knots on them - reason being - this lovely instrument came with skinny strings - and I just happened to have a nice low E-string available - so I simply moved all strings one step higher - too see if that would be the right set. So I just extended original E&A to be A&D by using what was left over from the new E
I'm still contemplating between half-round and slicks . . .
