What I really find interesting is that on a Starfire, the long scale Cobalt Flats 40-95 set that is a 148.3lb. tension set feels perfect to me, while the Rotosound SM66 40-100 long scale set which is a 155.38lb. set feels way floppier and low tension on the Starfire to me.
I will have to bump up to 45-105 on the Swing Bass strings to match the 40-95 Cobalts tension feel, even though the 45-105 Roots are a 184.97l. set., much higher tension than the 40-95 Cobalts.
