First of all, congrats on your new Starfire.
Well....if I am not mistaken, the NS Starfire IV already comes with a bone nut and is strung from the factory with a set of D'Addario 11-49's.
Of course that does not rule out the need for some nut work to get that Starfire playing and sounding to its full potential (the nut slots on my NS X175B needed to be filed down to get optimum action and playability). Beyond that, a common complaint with the pu's on the NS Starfire IV is that there is an imbalance of volume between the bridge and neck that has been discussed at length on this forum. Some have felt the need to get the bridge pu rewound others have been able to get better balance through pu height adjustments.
