Guild just sent me a Starfire I-12 for review, and I've got to say, I am very impressed so far. The workmanship on this Indonesian instrument is top notch, right out of the box, and the neck is wide and comfortably chunky, befitting an electric 12-string. I reviewed one of the first group of...

The upside is, in the review he compared the Starfire to the venerated Ric 12...and he had two at hand to compare it with

It was a nice guitar, but I sent it back, ultimately, because I own two amazing Rick 330-12 strings, and it made no sense to keep the Guild, as nice as it was. I can get artist pricing from Guild, but I'm not in guitar buying mode right now.
