That is certainly "interesting" music, but whatever your tastes, she sure can play that guitar!

That's an aristocrat retrofitted with Guild mini-HB's.

I know her music pretty well, and the mix on this particular live recording is absolutely horrendous. No bass, no keys, wow, sound engineers really blew it.

Nice guitar. Unfortunately the sound she's getting out of it, and the music in general is pretty dreadful.

I agree, LA. This recording doesn't do her justice. She's a brilliant guitar player and very talented songwriter.

Here's the old modified Aristocrat from the video:

She also has another old guitar which from the body and pickguard could be mistaken as modified Guild, but it's a Hagström:

That video was cool - thanks! Doing that "stuff" she is doing without a pick is wild! And the two of them were certainly not promoting any new guitar models - I enjoyed it!

Yeah liked the Guitar Moves video - seems there is a series there to check out. Uncle is Tuck Andress - no wonder she is into the fingerpicking side of things.

I need to check more of her stuff out. Great to see young guitarists (especially female) making their mark & using a cool Guild too.

Start with the tracks Cruel and Cheerleader. The guitar solo on cruel will blow your mind. It's like Hendrix playing in front of the Lawrence Welk Show and once it's done, you realize all she did was repeat the main melody of the song. It's one of those guitar moments that left me bewildered: "Is that all you have to do?" For Annie Clark, the answer is yes.

"Cruel" is very Blondie-like, with much better guitar playing!
