These Italian pastries are usually only available around March 19 for St. Joseph's Day. It took a while, but I hunted some down. It's only once a year, so I got one for me and one for Mrs. Jaguar.

Looks like a cream puff. What's in the middle? Is the frosting cream cheese?

The bakery made two types - one with a custard filling (think Bavarian cream donut) and the other with a ricotta-based filling like the one used for cannoli. The latter is more traditional, but both taste yummy.
Sounds like a cop out to me.
