Nice buy Scoogs!

Welcome to the club, you did well.

Are we taking bets on the size of your Guild collection by this time next year?

Honestly, when it comes to me and guitar buying... You never know.

I'm so... What's the word... "Adventurous" with my money. But if I see a deal, I have a hard time passing it by. We'll see. I will say that I'm more of an electric guy.

USPS snail mail :x

Still not here.. And when it comes it will kill me more because I'm gonna have to wait at least a few hours due to the cold weather. But it won't be too cold (about 43 degrees)... So it shouldn't be too bad.

My D25-12 was born in 1990 and is identical to yours. I bought it used about 15 years ago for $375 so I'd say you got a great deal.

I've since installed a Fishman Matrix pickup in mine.

Wonderful! Congrats on the new axe. She looks great! The soundboard looks excellent, and I'll be she's s honey.

Get some bore oil / boiled linseed oil on that fretboard and bridge next time you dress 'er up. The rosewood looks a bit dry to me from the pic.

Beautiful. I suspected you'd got a score.

How's it sound? How's the action? Does it stay in tune?

It sounds amazing. My God, is it loud. It sounds so sweet, tho. Action is just fine, and tuning is not a problem at all.

I have bore oil (Fret Doctor) and will oil it up soon. It looks worse than it actually is because of the flash from the camera. The guitar is in great shape considering it's from 1991.
