Re: FS: 1971 F-50R NT (early Westerly)

It truly is drool-worthy, so I can only accept those compliments with a sense of humility for the people who created it and the people who kept it so nicely for all the years before I got it.

I must apologize for feeding the GAS frenzy in these tough economic times, but I sort of feel some justification in the sense that I'm doing this looking forward to (and in support of) the future of the brand. May Guild's be bright indeed!

I kept looking at your lot and tried to figure which one you would chuck to finance the new 212XL. Sorry to see it go, but at least you have Cap. Good luck!

I can see it now..."Madame, May i pet your poodle?" One can at least ask!
What i notice about "walking the dog".is that they are CHICK MAGNETS!!! If i were a single man...and wanted to 'unsingle myself.'.....I'd get a dog!!! or borrow one!!! ....and Watch your social life expand!! Test my theory!! ..."walk your dog!!'

Oh yea Chaz.......If providence prevails..my numbers will come in on Weds. I am IN it to WIN IT!!! ( highly unlikely...but at least I AM in with a chance!!! )

I had to have a higher price on eBay than for you guys because that's the way of things (oh, and let's not forget the eBay/PayPal rapage... don't get me started). But, so be it; looks like the '71 is sold. This is a first-time eBay buyer, so keep your fingers crossed. Maybe I can turn her into an LTGer. :)

I may want to relay this down the east coast folks, rather than ship it. I'll keep y'all posted. A little Guild love chain might be in order here to deliver this.

That sucks Chaz. When I win an auction, I usually pay in more like four minutes. Hopefully they're just otherwise engaged.

No conclusions yet. This buyer appears to be a newbie and will be afforded my patience. And you guys know, I'm nothing if not patient (and persistent). :)
