Congrats! I've got one in red with the matching red headstock that Guitar Center mis-priced at $599 a bit over a year ago. I love it. Plays great, sounds great.

Oh, alright. I know how it works; "Pics or GTFO!"

Interestingly, they still have them at $599. Over $900 locally and at many other on-line sites.

Those Lakland Skyline's are the bomb Treem! I think Jon Stirrat from Wilco plays one a lot. Laklands are some of my favorite basses. You may have read about how I plan to mock up the Jerry Scheff model with my Surfcaster. Just need that dang costly Bartolini preamp!

Congrats on grabbing that bass, Dave. It's really a versatile axe.

Thanks, jp. It's supposed to get here sometime today, and I'm really looking forward to it.

The versatility was one of my deciding factors. That, and the fact that we're big Jacksonville Jaguar fans here, and one of the team colors is black!
