Yeah... but no worries. I will be keeping a few. This one is a way better guitar than I am a player. Maybe I'll get another one some day, but for now it must go, and maybe 1-2 more if the timing works out.

Why this one? The 1 3/4 in nut makes mine easier to play. It is easier to handle than a dread and the pickups are good. Who ever ends up with it should love it. .

Is it a 1 3/4 nut?? I'd love it but I cannot get comfortable with that size.....grrrrr

I just watched a few of his videos at 2 a.m.

It is 1-3/4 nut width and a very comfortable neck which is one of the reason's I love it.

That's a stunning guitar. And the youtube video with DD talking about it is very cool. Good luck with the sale!

Don't think I ever realized they had a 1-3/4 nut, always loved 'em as a member of my beloved "F40 family", but yeah that's a tad too wide for me too, and my pipe dream is still an F40 body with a shortscale, probably flatback, in rosewood. Basically a shortscale F47R.

When Doyle became a Guild endorser again last year, I hoped (still do) it would herald the return of the real F40 body.

Good luck with the sale buddy, it's gorgeous and that top looks AAA all the way. Nice tight grain and perfectly consistent silking and color.

Al, I’m just the opposite... I much prefer 1-3/4. The old F-40 size, which this is based on, is Guild perfection in my mind.

The 1 3/4 in nut is good for fingerpicking. It doesn't take long to get used to it. You won't want to flat pick a DDS because it has no pickguard on the Adi top. Glade to hear Guild may build them again. and Doyle is back with them.

Boy I wish that were true in my case, I'd still have my F-30R and GAD F-40-P.

Funny, I have no issues whatsoever with a fat 12 string neck but I just can't get my arms.....er hands...around the 1 3/4

It is amazing how such a tiny difference actually feels. Our hands and fingers are amazingly perceptive instruments.

I have a Reverb offer I’m considering. Checking one more time to see if we can keep this in the family.

In case anyone hasn't seen this yet, I though it was a pretty good story behind this model:
