Sold **********I'm selling my F212XL due to finances. I purchased it last December without a case, then I found a Guild Jumbo case made by TKL and got that. Not period correct, but it's new, solid and fits the guitar like a glove.
It didn't play well when I got it and I took it to the shop. He replaced the nut and set up the action and got it in his words, "as low as it can go without a neck reset". To me it plays very nicely up and down the neck in concert tuning and I'm s skinny 67 year old who doesn't practice enough.
He did a thorough going over and it's structurally fine. There are a few dings and much finish checking. The picture of the back of the headstock shows a scary looking crack. The luthier says it's just a finish crack and it looks that way to me too.
This guitar sounds wonderful like a Guild hog jumbo should.
Price is $750 shipped with hardshell case to the con. USA.
