Thanks, Ralf. Indeed, as much as I enjoy hearing from gibsonjunkie, I was indeed referrring to gjmalcyon. I.e, the Teflon spray is supposed to work really well on these modern, low-VOC paints that line the augers and chutes on modern blowers.
Must say, though... Crampons seem like a very good idea too. Although, my Honda blower has a track which pretty much grips everything, and I just hold on if I slip.
