The elevator video was terrifying, but then I have elevator nightmares. Well, I used to; haven't had one in a long time but after watching that the dry spell could end.

Just watched it. Yikes.

If it's any consolation I used to hang out with an Elevator guy, and he used to say that you have almost nothing to fear in a modern elevator, but escalators should terrify you. Sleep well.

I've been giving that much thought and I have decided I do not really agree with your elevator friend. Moving stairs or a prison cell hanging on cables and it will let you out when and if it gets good and ready.

Stairs, thank you. I've never cared for relinquishing control.
