A good friend in the UK...(a Harley guy to be fair), once told me as I pined for a Triumph Trophy or Bonneville from my youth, the only reason to own a Triumph is if you want oil stains in your driveway...

The Norton Commando was the big one around here...750cc ???

There is a Norton Museum in an old mill, somewhere in Connecticut, would be a nice day trip to go look at sometime...but it would only bring up urges that are not satiable

My brother has two of them. Both are the later ones that were punched out to 850cc (I think actually 828 but they rounded up).
