I have seen road signs warning of Falling Rocks...

But Tom’s sign has me baffled. I’m sure I would either have to pull to the side of the road and set up temporary shelter, or call off my road trip entirely, and turn around to retrace my path, as I would have no idea what that sign is warning me of… but it looks to be awful.

The sign means "Entering Oz, Land of the Flying Monkeys"

This sign means "Obscured View ahead. IE fog. Maybe Tom's sign is for a really foggy area!

I tried to find an image of the little bugger coming over the roof of the car with the woman screaming inside. That's the scene I remember in my head from seeing this as a very young kid. Scared the heck out of me at the time but now it's pretty silly to see. "The Zanti Misfits" is an episode of the original The Outer Limits television show.
